The VCS location does charge a fee that is based upon a % of gross sales that includes your 32M software costs. Operators also pay for their 32M credit card processing fee. The fee discussed by our sales team is uncapped and is not negotiable. The VCS does require they have the right to view the sales data and hold operators to the VCS food and service standards.
32M and VCS have entered in to a long term exclusive agreement for Three Square Market to provide all market and cooler cafe solutions across all VA Medical Centers and clinics. This includes over 80 hospitals and up to 1200 clinics.
The Veterans Canteen Service is a $650MM government owned corporation. It runs cafeterias, retail stores and vending operations across all VA buildings across the globe. Most locations are currently run completely by the VCS employing mostly veterans from all branches of the military.
The VA Medical Center in Minneapolis-St. Paul has been the launch location. Currently this location has the cafeteria open to service the 1100 employees currently working with limited menu 6am - 2pm plus a full vending offering. The Cooler Cafe is generating $2600 monthly with no theft. The Minneapolis-St. Paul location normally has over 5,000 employees; as more employees return, revenue opportunities will grow..
